Welcome back to the Teach Lead Coach Podcast! This episode is all about the how to make end of the year reflection that can transform your practice. Taking time daily to reflect on one or two of these questions can set you up for your best year yet in the 2022-2023 school year. I know we are all ready to dive right into summer break, but taking time to reflect BEFORE the year ends is so important to improving your practice and becoming the best version of yourself!

Here are the questions. Follow along with the episode for ideas and examples to reflect meaningfully on each question.
1.What are the biggest obstacles to improving my practice and how will I overcome them?
2. Were my students excited to be in class? If not, how can I inspire them?
3. Are the relationships that I have with my students helping or hindering their ability to learn?
4. In what ways have I given my students choices and the opportunity to take charge of their own learning?
5.  Do my assessments really reflect learning, or merely task completion or memorization skills?
6.  In what ways am I challenging students who are clearly being successful In my class?
7. What do I do when students aren’t learning in my classroom?
8. In what areas can I still improve professionally?
9. Are the relationships I have with my student’s parents conductive and improving learning?
10. What have I done lately to relieve stress and focus on my own mental health, to ensure I remain an effective teacher?
11. How did I positively or negatively impact the school culture?
