In this episode of Becoming with Angelina Watkins, Angelina interviews Renee’ Washington-Hawthorne

Pastor Renee’ is a preacher’s kid who shares her journey of becoming the wife, mother, pastor, and woman empowerment leader she is today. Her journey in the ministry has not always been easy. She talks about how you can have many gifts that leaders in the church will take advantage and use for their benefit and not the benefit of God and His people. She helps us to identify when you are being spiritually abused, which includes not getting the guidance and instruction to fully come into your gifts for the glory of God.

Pastor Renee’ talks about her women’s ministry and her calling to empower women. She has gone from molested and abandoned to bringing hope to other women who have had tumultuous pasts. Pastor Renee’ has authored three books that she closely shares her stories of triumph in her books. She let’s us know ministry starts at home. You have to first get yourself and your house in order before you can lead God’s people. With that revelation, she took some time to get herself together to truly hear from God and become an excellent wife.

She is now teaching other women how to be led by the spirit and be an excellent woman, wife, and child of God.

About Renee’ Washington-Hawthorne
Renee' Washington-Hawthorne is a new author who seeks to inspire, motivate, encourage, and minister. She enlightens men and women pertaining to their relationship with God and each other. God has bestowed the wisdom upon her to share with women how to be a best friend and a wife to their spouse, especially to those in ministry.

Her passions are equipping upcoming leaders, encouraging, and preparing Sr Ladies and their adjutants (armorbearers), and working with her husband to restore marriages. Teaching, speaking, and facilitating at retreats, seminars, and workshops, and dance instruction are just a few things you will find Pastor Renee' doing. Building and encouraging women to walk worthy is her personal ministry called Women with Purpose, which focuses on how to walk correctly as a woman of God.
