Each episode may feature a choose your tarot card reading, mediumship stories or readings, ghost encounters, spiritual awakening stories, and anything that might give you the sense that there exists more than what meets the eyes. Since this is the debut episode, I wanted to bring my old friend James Van Praagh here to help you feel your family in spirit. OK, just kidding... He's not really here himself, but I have his Talking to Heaven tarot card deck sitting here next to me calling your name. Each episode will have a choose your own tarot reading sprinkled through out the show. This Talking to Heaven deck is more geared toward mediumship, and connecting with your loved ones who have passed.

To get prepared to choose your reading for today, I want you to take a moment and meditate with me. Imagine on each inhale you are breathing in light, love, hope, and focus on who it is you want to hear from. On each exhale, imagine your letting out any negative energy you have holding you back in your life... any negative thoughts or feelings... just let them go just like the air leaving your lungs. Do this a few times, and each one, focus on what number you are drawn to today. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... this is your message from your loved one. Try to keep them in mind for this entire podcast, wouldn't that be wild if it connects with you?

OK, so if you are drawn to the number 1, this is your message from the Talking to Heaven Tarot Card Deck for today:

1. Although you may not understand it now, everything happens for a reason... This card is a silhouette of hands putting two puzzle pieces together... But, the thing is, the pieces are mismatched, they don't actually fit together! I never realized until recently that the pieces are actually mismatched here. So, even though you might be trying so hard to make things work, and to make it fit... perhaps your family in spirit are trying to let you know that, sometimes things won't fit perfectly as planned, and it might not go exactly according to plan, and even though they might not be the ideal match, they still fit together, just not how you thought.

And throughout this episode we will go through some signs from spirit. I would love to hear what kind of signs you've seen from your family members. So some basic signs from your loved ones in spirit could be butterflies, flowers, birds like robins... and doves... and also coins with their birth year, also music... You know if you are in the car, and you hear a song with their name, that's definitely a sign from your loved one in spirit. So, what signs have you seen from your loved ones? I'd love to hear from you.

Here is the reading for those of you who have been drawn to the number 2.

2. Don't be afraid... and there is an overcast beautiful sky and waves crashing onto some oversized gray boulders. Those stones aren't going anywhere... your family in spirit is acknowledging that feeling you have of almost being swept away in the waves, but they want you to know that they're not letting you get washed away. You are strong, you WILL get through this, just like those rocks, this person in spirit was like that for you. Someone who would never let you down, would never leave you to fend for yourself. Well, they're still there watching over you, but they want you to know that YOU are the boulder, YOU HAVE the strength that you need to get through this. Don't be afraid to go for it.

Earlier I mentioned butterflies and how they can be a sign from a person who crossed over. First, I'll tell you what butterflies mean to me when I see them in a mediumship reading. Intuitively, butterflies are a sign of big transformations and a rebirth of yourself. It actually all depends on the person who is sitting in front of me, the meaning is different for every one. Even so, here are different meanings I have for butterflies in readings.

~ One of the major meanings for butterflies is transformation and rebirth. It's incredible to me how an animal can completely change their entire body, but still retain all of it's memories. This change is an amazing metaphor for your life. You don't know what's about to happen, and maybe you're even scared... Things might even be painful and hurt a lot during this transformative period, but keep hope and faith. Know that just like the butterfly, you will come out even better than before. You aren't failing, you're busy learning to fly my friends.

Once again, I want to take a moment to meditate and take a deep breath in... to allow in all the joy and happiness into your life, and with each breath out... let out any negative thoughts or feelings, and who ever chose #3, here is the card from James Van Praagh's Talking to Heaven Tarot Deck.:

3. We are soul mates, and this card has 2 white tropical looking flowers sitting next to eachother on the sand of a beautiful, sunny beach. This person you have in mind is a member of your soul family. If you believe in reincarnation... which I do now, I didn't use to, but too many unbelievable things have happened in my life, that for me, there's no way I can go back to not believing. Anyway... this person or people in spirit, they have been with you in each life, and for many more to come, they will continue learning as well, through this journey on earth and beyond. I feel like you will see flowers like this, or flowers that remind you of this person, and know that it's them. White flowers, I see you surrounded by these beautiful whites and golds, perhaps there are some of these colors near you now, or those flowers are important to your loved one in spirit. They want you to know that you will see them again, and if that's in a sign, make sure you don't lose hope and keep your heart open to accept signs.

Speaking of signs... flowers like the one on the card are such a special and beautiful way spirit likes to show itself. Each flower can have a different meaning... depending on shape, the color, location, who's giving the flower... and of course, the meaning is ultimately determined on how YOU are feeling at that particular moment in time. But, in a more general sense, when I see a flower during a reading or if a particular flower pops out at you while you are walking, it can mean love, faith and hope.
Some times, during a mediumship reading, the loved one in spirit will hand them a flower. But, it's not just any flower... whatever the most beautiful looking flower you can imagine in... MIne is irridescent white with pinks and golds running through it, but it has a shine and kind of glistens in the sunlight... nothing you can possibly find on this earth... a flower from heaven's garden. I love when this flower comes up during a reading, and maybe your family in spirit want you to know about it today as well. This flower... who ever is listening to this podcast right now, your family in spirit, they want to give part of their spirit to you, to help you while you continue this journey on earth. It's usually when a particular BTS song comes on that I'm listening to that this flower comes up. What kinds of flowers have you received as signs from your family in spirit?
