If you notice when the serpent interacts with Eve, his deception is mix with how well he knew God’s words. In today’s world we are forgetting that the devil isn’t just some red horned beast, he was once a beautiful angel, and the Word says he appears to be light, as well as the demons. This is how we will be deceived. Not because we’re losing a fight to an enemy, but because we are being poisoned and aren’t even aware of the effects.

Remember anything counterfeit is only as effective as how close it appears to the real thing.
