In this episode we continue studying the book of Revelation. In this episode we discuss the judgment seat.

Scripture says, we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2Corinthians 5:10)

In one of Daniels visions he saw the Ancient of Days, and books were opened. He saw ten thousand times ten thousands standing before him, waiting to be judged. Each would receive a reward according to how they lived their lives. Those who received Christ will receive the reward of eternal life and those who rejected Him will receive eternal damnation, life in hell, the place that burns with fire and brimstone.

The ones who receive eternal life, receive it not because they were perfect but because, Jesus the Christ pardoned their sins.

Paul says in Romans chapter verses 7 and 8.

Romans 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

To receive a pardon one must believe on the one God sent to forgive sin.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Only Jesus provides access to God and the beauty of heaven.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Act 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The book of Job tells us we will be escorted to the pit of the grave by destroyers, if we don't have a messenger with us upon our deaths. If we have a messenger (one of God's holy angels) with us, God will be gracious to us and deliver us from the pit, because of the ransom Jesus paid. Here's the text:

Job 33:22  Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

Job 33:23  If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

Job 33:24  Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

Job 33:25  His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

Job 33:26  He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

Job 33:27  He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

Job 33:28  He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

There is only one deliverer, and his name is Jesus. He offers you eternal life as a free gift. Salvation is free. The only thing it may cost you is your pride, it takes a humble person to admit they are living in sin and need a Savior to rescue them from it.

God is jealous, meaning he cares so much for you that he yearns to provide a ransom for you. It's not his will that Satan and hell have you. He daily provides us with grace, hoping we will turn to him to receive forgiveness and the gift of eternal life but is our choice.

The apostle James says in the following text:

James 4:5  Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"?

James 4:6  But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "GOD RESISTS THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE
