In this episode we continue studying the book of Revelation. In this episode we discuss the resurrection. We note that Strong's says resurrection means, standing up again, that is, (literally) a resurrection from death or (figuratively) a moral recovery of spiritual truth, raised to life again.

So there are various types of resurrections. Although resurrection from the dead is the most important of all types.

Other resurrections must occur before the resurrection from the dead occurs. Because in order to qualify for the resurrection from the dead there must be a resurrection of truth in our lives.

We must believe the word of God. Then comes the resurrection of morality or righteousness.

When we obey the word of God, we are abiding in Christ and He will raise us up again, to enjoy eternal life with Him, on a new earth. What joy there will be when that old devil, the serpent will be locked away unable to lie, steal, kill and destroy.

We also note the battle of Gog and Magog. Magog is the land of the covering one and Gog is the king of Magog.

Gog will be the future antichrist who will cover the eyes of the nations at the end of the thousand years. But we are told there are many antichrists and some are in our churches today.

1 John 2:18 and 19  says, " Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."

Notice he said they went out from us, something happened that caused these antichrist preachers and teachers to be revealed and viewed as separating themselves from the rest of the church.

In 1 John chapter 2 verse 23 John says, "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also."

Mounce says, deny means contradict, decline, refuse, disclaim and disown.

The antichrists in the church are revealed by contradicting and disowning the word of God. They are denying Christ and his Father by refusing to teach what the Bible says instead of what the world is saying. And Jesus said, if they deny him, he will deny them before the Father and the angels in heaven.

If we don't align our teachings and worldviews with scripture we are denying Christ and are in danger of hell fire.
