This week on The Get Down we are joined by a guest who was just last week a stranger in the world to me. I met Georgie at a skate park whilst out with my son and observed she had a prosthetic leg from the knee down. We struck up a conversation and I was immediately blown away by her story and I asked her to stop talking and invited her onto the show. To my delight she said YES! I found Georgie to be incredibly brave, honest and funny, all rolled up with an infectious laugh to boot. I commend Georgie on her bravery and have no doubts she will use this reasonably new condition she is faced with to help others and bring positivity into peoples lives.
