The Mexican government, led by AMLO and American politicians such as Lindsey Graham have traded barbs in the aftermath of the four Americans who were kidnapped, with two ending up dead. According to AMLO, there is no problem with Fentanyl in Mexico or with it being produced in Mexico. That in itself is ridiculous, considering the facts on the ground.
On the flipside, and just as ridiculous, we have politicians on the other side of the border calling for military intervention in yet another country.
Meanwhile, none of them even bother to bring up the root cause of all of this pain and suffering: The addiction problem. So, we will pick up the slack.
