The attack on the bridge in Crimea, that caused major damage to not only the bridge itself but the railway that uses the bridge as well, is going to be a serious escalation in the war. Russian hardliners are already calling for the complete and utter destruction of the infrastructure of Ukraine in revenge and those calls are growing louder by the minute.
Ukraine, for their part, was able to disable a major artery for the Russian military and hamstring their efforts to hold Crimea and the annexed regions.
