For months before the withdrawal of Afghanistan and in the direct aftermath, we heard from many in the legacy media how the Taliban was a newer and more kind group and that they would respect the human rights of all of the people it ruled over. Well, as we all know now that is not the case and because of it, an insurgency within the borders of Afghanistan has been brewing and building and now, the legacy media and the west must confront the reality that a brand new war is about to get underway in Afghanistan.
