If there was a title to our love story it would be "Our Moment in His Time."

My wife Tracelyn and I first met 32 years ago this August. We were aged 14. It was a Youth Camp on the beautiful island of Anguilla in the Caribbean. It was my first proper full vacation abroad with my family and I was invited per chance to the Youth Camp. I saw Tracelyn and immediately wanted to get to know her. After a teary goodbye with me heading back to England, young love's dream was reliant on things called letters (written with pen and paper), phone calls made with phone cards with a select number of minutes, and greeting cards. It would take you at least a day to read the letter several times before replying. Photographs were the only visual references of what we looked like. Yes, the internet didn't exist during the early 90's! We had lost contact during the next few years, but another family trip back to the Caribbean was planned - a family reunion. But after not hearing from Tracelyn for so long, I had another reunion in mind. Upon arriving back in Anguilla I was informed by my cousins that I had arrived "just in time", and there was still time to make a move. Sure, I thought, I was there for another couple of weeks. Unbeknown to me, I had arrived the day before her wedding! Best still, I ended up being the keyboard player for said nuptials, as my cousin (and family friend of the Bride) had some other duties to fulfil. Watching Tracelyn standing in front of me at the altar in that moment, was one of the hardest things I had to endure. Nevertheless, that wasn't to be the end of our story.

I again returned to England after the vacation but this time. our lives would go in different directions. I got married 5 years later - about a year before Facebook comes along! I moved to Canada, and Tracelyn and I hadn't spoken much at all since 1998, and for all the craze of social media, we didn't interact much at all - to the point where I didn't even notice she had left Facebook some point around 2014.

2014 was a pivotal year for both as we had both experienced separation and divorce in our respective marriages. After 4 years I saw a Friends Suggestion and noticed it was under Tracelyn's maiden name. We became FB friends in December but again with limited interaction - she was just getting back into social media after being off it for some time. I had heard that she had moved to England and whilst working on a music project in March of 2019, I saw a Messenger notification that she was online and a conversation began - some 21 years after seeing her walk down the aisle. After a long distance relationship began, Tracelyn and I were married in Sept of 2021. The picture attached is of the same angle, but this time a different perspective - our moment in His time. Tracelyn has since relocated to Canada and we are happily married with our blended family.

Many thanks to all who submitted love stories!
