The uncreative and lazy writing choices that have been present throughout this season are on full display in this episode. While there are some good moments and the end resolution is promising, the finale lacked the emotional payoff to years of storytelling built up for Mandalore. Giancarlo Esposito, the greatest tv villain actor of all time, is also somehow squandered.
