I really went through some stuff this weekend- struggles with anxiety, irrational guilt, and with overwhelm. It was a big spot light on the things that aren't working in my life- and the area of opportunity for genuine letting go.

But have you ever had those times in your life where you KNEW you needed to let go, but you just couldn't? Whether it was because it couldn't be resolved, no closure to be found, or nothing you could do to change things- you just felt stuck in a spiral or obsessive cycle of thinking and self deprecation.
This is what I went through this weekend, and it took me the entire 48 hours to start to come out the other side. So today on the podcast I talk through this struggle, and also the way it sucks to move through it even when you know better, even when you have tools like mindfulness, meditation, etc.- that sometimes we're human and we don't know how to get to the places that will help us (fast enough).

There's nothing inherently wrong with struggling. In fact, it's a huge part of the human experience. Struggle makes us better- struggling makes us more compassionate and understanding. Struggling makes us grateful.

I hope that whatever this episode can offer you in terms of resonance, that it's meaningful. And if you want to check out the blog companion for today's episode you can check it out here: https://abitfromwithin.com/ridiculously-hig…s-and-letting-go/
