Today on the podcast I'm talking about the seasons of life that are challenging, and where no matter how much we wish we could simplify or change things- there's not a lot we can do about it.
If life has taught me anything it's that we cannot control what comes in and out, or what we experience, but we CAN choose to find the ease we need in each and everyday. Sometimes that ease comes from leaning on our loved ones- and other times, those are the last people who's two cents we need as we do our best to get through.
I think this is an important message because sometimes we forget that our experience and next steps are not dependent on the acceptance or validation from others. In fact, it's in our learning to rely on ourselves, and to care what WE think about our own lives/experience that comes to matter the most.
