The US Military has always had to adapt to the changes within the American culture, this is true now in several areas. Since the death of George Floyd the Military has taken several pro active measures in how it responds to cultural and racial issues. One of these is the names of several US Army bases in the South named after Confederate Generals. In this podcast I look at this particular issue along with. Racial demographics, recruiting strategies in new demographics, the expanding roles of women in combat MOSs. The new Army PT test and the high failure rate. The directive for the USMC to have males and females train together in boot camp. Will that mean the construction of a new boot camp facility, or the closure of Paris Island and Camp Pendleton?
