Welcome to another episode of Beast of Burden! Todat we talk about the necessaties of trapping on your land. Mainly, I focused on the delusion of "if I have this habitat, I'll have more prey species therefore the predators will leave my deer, turkeys, ect alone because the predators have plenty of mice and rabbits".... in a fantasty land sure, but the beautiful aspect of habitat management is: build it and they will come. All of the critters will come. It comes down to balance. The more opportunities you present for wildlife and ALL wildlife will requrie balance. My logic states, "Bountiful habitat presents bountiful prey (turkey, deer, quail, grouse) then bountiful predators. Challenge me on that. Too me this leads to an sportsman paradise.
