Tonight our very special guest is Boyd Dunleavey who now resides in Dieppe New Brunswick. Boyd is a 2-time blood cancer survivor who loves doing pretty much any distance run, especially the half-marathon and marathon distances. With 11 marathons under his belt including Boston, Boyd is looking to do many more. Boyd has been through a lot but no matter what he is always pushing forward. Interesting and engaging, no one can tell a story like Boyd and what he tells us will knock your socks off. Having received a life-saving stem cell transplant from the U.S. Navy Serviceman, Nathan Barnes. It took many years to finally meet and what they went through to get to that stage will surprise you. Boyd leaves us with a very special message, donate blood. It's simple and true and we hope Boyd inspires you to keep moving and go and donate, you will be so glad you did.
