In this chapter Janab Muhaddis Noori (ar) brings 71 traditional proofs(31 from the Ahle Sunnat sources and 40 from the Shia sources) proving that Hazrat Hujjat (atfs) who is the son of Imam Hasan Askari (as) is the Promised Mahdi(atfs).
In our excerpts are bringing only 5 of these 71. Today we present the 5th narration which is 15th narration from the Shia sources.
Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
_O people, one, who cannot see the sun should become attached to the moon. One, who is lost and cannot see the moon should become attached to the Faraqdain and when he cannot see Faraqdain, he should become attached to the bright stars after me._
The narrator asked:
_Please explain to me who are the sun, moon, Faraqdan and the bright stars?_
He replied:
_I am the sun and Ali is the moon; and when you don’t find me, become attached to Ali after me. As for Faraqdan: they are Hasan and Husain. When you don’t have the moon, you must become attached to them. And as for the bright stars: they are the nine Imams from the progeny of Husain, the ninth of them being their Mahdi._
Then the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said:
_They are my successors and Caliphs after me. The righteous Imams as many as the number of the tribes of Yaqub (a.s.) and the companions of Isa (a.s.)._
I said:
_Please mention their names, O Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.)._
He said:
_The first of them and their chief is Ali Ibne Abi Talib (a.s.) and after him, my grandsons, Hasan and Husain and after him, Ali bin Husain Zainul Aabedeen(as), and after him Muhammad bin Ali(as) the splitter of the knowledge of the prophets; and after him Sadiq, Ja’far bin Muhammad(as); and after him Kazim, Moosa bin Ja’far(as); and after him Reza, Ali bin Moosa(as); who will be martyred in a far off land. After him, his son, Muhammad (Al Taqi(as)) and after him, his son, Ali(An-Naqi(as)); and after him, his son, Hasan(Al Askari (as)) and after him, his son, Hujjat Qaaem(atfs), who is the awaited one during his occultation and who will be obeyed during his reappearance._
With this we complete chapter 5. Inshallah next week we will begin with chapter 6.
*May ALLAH hasten the reappearance of our Imam (as) and grant us the taufeeq to obey Him(as).*
