In Eureka Springs, Arkansas, lies an historic hotel at 75 Prospect Avenue, the 1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa. Its billed as Americas most haunted hotel, even offering ghost tours for free. 'The Grand Ol Lady of the Ozarks' as the hotel is known as, has tons of history.. Built as a resort for the rich and famous but quickly became unmanageable, and fell into disrepair. But while the hotel has all this amazing history, including how Powell and Kearns helped to create this luxury hotel and its years as a college, its the dark history of this place that intrigues the masses, and its not just the stories of the paranormal happenings. But the story of an evil grifter, who purchased the crescent property for his own personal greed, who claimed to have discovered a number of "cures" for various ailments, including cancer.
