KEEP BUILDING

Matthew 7:24-27
[24]Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25]And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
[26]And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
[27]And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Having Christ as the foundation of one's life is the first step to having a solid foundation: This step is not expansive until Christ is the foundation of your choices and life virtues.

It is good that you are grafted into this journey, but it is best you keep building with choice materials prescribed by the One you have started with: Don't just make Him the Author of your Faith but let Him see you through till the end.

What exactly do I mean? The foolish man who built on sand isn't the man that didn't have the foundation of 'the rock' ,he did but chose to do without.

The value of our power is in the state of options. More than others, Christians have Freewill because we truly have the choice of Life: we are practically thrust into its vastness as soon as we accepted Christ.

What have you done with the Life available to you? Are you abusing Grace by doing as you can and not as you should?
Have you been building with the Words of life spoken by the One who has given you life? Or are you building based on the turns and twists of the world? Living life by dictates of public opinion?

Unless the Lord builds a house, they labour in vain that builds it reveals to you that this walk, this work of building subsists by a coalition of will: His and yours.

Unless He builds your Life (an inward building which spills unto outward growth), all you would be doing is beating the wind because the quality of your life WILL be tested.

This is not a question of 'if', it is a certainty of 'when' so I admonish you who have been at it to keep building. Don't stop now, the fire that has been revealed isn't to throw you off balance but to reveal your Strength: The One whose thread is entwined in your steps.

And if you know you have been on your own path & your ways are led by the sways of conditions, go submit yourself to Him, let His Light show you your instability as He helps you rebuild.


1 Corinthians 3:9-15
[9]For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
[11]For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
[12]Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
[13]Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
[14]If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
[15]If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

I pray today that we lay down our pride and accept the wisdom of God and our understanding be opened as we build in and with Him in Jesus name, amen.
