Scripture texts are Leviticus 19.9-18 and Luke 10.25-37 from the subject, "Love Others Compassionately."

No matter who you are, where you are from, how you have been raised, despite your circumstances, everyone can serve, and everyone can love. Not only can we love but we are commanded by the LORD to love others compassionately. Love your neighbor as yourself.

- Blessing the homeless with a meal is loving others compassionately.
- Forgiving those who have wronged us is…
- Donating to worthy causes such as organizations that work to end human trafficking is…
- Joining or forming groups to improve our communities is…
- Speaking up for the voiceless is….
- Being an advocate for the disenfranchised and the marginalized is…
- Joining in the fight for the right to vote is…
- Sharing the gospel with the unchurched and unsaved is…

The Good Samaritan saw a need and met the need. He loved others compassionately! We do not love because we feel like it. We love because the LORD commanded us to love, and it is the right thing to do. If we want to see more love in the world, we must decide and BE more loving. Love is ACTION! Love others compassionately!

Amen.
