David gave Solomon instructions about sending his enemies to an early grave before he died. Semei cursed David and so Solomon commanded him to stay in Jerusalem or face execution. Semei thanked Solomon and remained in Jerusalem for three years until his servants left and he went to retrieve them. God gave Solomon a dream wherein he granted him one request. Solomon asked for wisdom to judge God's great people and because he didn't ask for something selfish, God granted his request and gave him conditions for receiving what selfish men usually seek. Finally, two women came to Solomon and presented a complicated question which he resolved with ease giving rise to an incredible reputation for governing with the wisdom of God.
