He terrorized Italian immigrants in the early 1900s and introduced us to the term "jazz it." But did you know this was not the first incident of an unknown person (or persons) terrorizing Louisiana with an ax? It probably won't come as much of a surprise to learn that over five years earlier, someone was attacking black communities with a family's own hatchet in the dead of night. Sound familiar?
