It is ironic that because of the pandemic, employees feel the work/life balance they aspire for many years. I hope these surveys on employees wanted to work remotely be considered by the organizations. Employees morale should be prioritized. Companies must now create a post pandemic approach having remote work as one of the options. Thank you for sharing.
The survey about what employee wants when they return to office was a bit surprising and interesting especially for business leaders. The employees have different views on what they want and being able to share some points on how leaders can address and adjust in this video seems to be really helpful.
Our assumptions about what others desire are frequently incorrect due to a cognitive mistake known as the false consensus effect. In a business setting, this is most likely to occur.
Employees were acclimated to WFH, and their systems had already adjusted to it, but after everything that has transpired, some employers still have the same expectations. Hoping that more employers will pay deeper understanding to their employees
needs.
Quite informative. Just got to know about cognitive bias called the false consensus effect. I also agree that most employees place a premium on telework and work-life quality after the pandemic. Its one of the best content for me. Highly recommended.
Thanks a lot for letting us know about this very important cognitive bias. I believe it will really help me to adapt to the post-COVID workplace. Thanks again for sharing this valuable audio.
This is such an amazing episode worth sharing. I was a bit surprised with the survey result that remote workers showed higher or equal productivity than before the pandemic, because it makes the employees more flexible to do the tasks at times that work best for their work/life balance, rather than the traditional 8-hours schedule. Employers should read this to stop their assumptions about employees' preference in going back to office in post pandemic vs. having telework setting to avoid the false consensus effect.
This is great on addressing cognitive bias and false consensus effect on an employee after pandemic
Amazing podcast! I agree that our assumptions about what others want are often incorrect due to the false consensus effect. Thank you for sharing such a helpful podcast. I truly appreciate it.
Very interesting, many things to learn from this episode. There are important points everyone should keep in mind to address mental blindspots so you can make the best decisions after the pandemic. Thanks for sharing.
Great episode, now I know better that I can judge others wrongly due to false consensus effect. Now I have to be conscious and not to be fooled by this dangerous judgement error. Thanks for sharing!
