After a lengthy delay, IDW's Star Wars Adventures #5 is finally out, bringing with a fresh crop of writers (Katie Cook and Casey Gilly), along with artists Cara McGee and Butch Mapa, colorists Britanny Peer and Charlie Kirchoff and letterers Jake M. Wood and Johanna Nattalie.

Combined, both creative teams deliver a pair of separte yet superb stories, with the first focused on Padme and Anakin and the second on Wilhuff Tarkin who, perhaps seeing his younger self, offers career advice to an up and coming officer in the only way he knows how.

In Darth Vader #13, writer Greg Pak, artist Rafelle Ienco, colorist Jason Keith and letter Joe Caramagna provide a tale focused on a newly cowed Sith lord that not only ties into the War of the Bounty Hunters event yet sets the stage for an intriguing power play yet to come.
