The Cubbies rookie Eloy Jimenez pulled off the impossible during Monday’s Carolina League Home Run Derby. Jimenez ripped a majestic home run to left-center field and put another swing on a ball during the rapid-fire home run derby format. Almost immediately after his second swing, the damage of his homerun was revealed in the form of falling glass which showered lights down onto the field. Officials on the field said it would have taken near superhuman power - guess we'll be seeing him in the Majors soon! In shocking news from Cleveland, the Cavaliers announced that they have parted ways with general manager David Griffin. The Cavaliers are coming off their third straight appearance in the NBA Finals and won the title in 2016 under Griffin. Even LeBron James seemed surprised and disappointed with the decision, tweeting: “If no one appreciated you Griff I did, and hopefully all the people of Cleveland! Thanks for what u did for the team for 3 yrs! We got us 1 Championship”
