This was the first year for the 2018 IRONMAN© 70.3 in Waco, Texas. I begin my series of interviews through this event with Valerie Myers, an age group athlete that loves the pure joy of racing. We discuss what it is like to be a normal athlete and a beginner to the sport and more than that what it is like for the swim to be canceled.
