The U.S. Senate is getting ready to debate and vote upon HR-1, also known as S.1 in its Senate form. The omnibus election transformation bill consists of 770 pages designed to federalize state elections including the banning of voter ID laws, the prohibition of cleaning voter rolls, and the universal acceptance of late mail ballots, to name just a few.
