The town of Peabody is offering free Narcan through its Public Health Department. Narcan is a life-saving drug that reverses an opioid overdose. In addition, an FDA Advisory Committee has endorsed over-the-counter sales of Narcan. Previously Narcan was only available for use by first responders and medical professionals.
