To the undiscerning ear, progressive Christianity sounds like a winner. But when you what they really believe, it should cause you to shudder. This movement is making its strides; starting churches under the guise of Christianity--but it is NOT! Be warned to separate yourself from this dangerous departure from the Faith.
The command to love others and proclaim the gospel, is what we will do as the Lord enables us; tell them, compel them, show them, lead them--and then love them some more. But if someone will not hear, do not cast your pearls before swine. Leave them to the Spirit of God. Don't nag, don't prod, don't chase--let the Holy Ghost work.
Jesus spoke the most famous last words ever spoken, when He sais, 'Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.' Anyone can say it, but not everyone is qualified to say it. When your time comes, can you?
'I just can't take it anymore'. These all too familiar words have been spoken by many people--Christians included. They're spoken when feeling overwhelmed. When in that place, there is only one thing to do.
As we serve the Lord, we will encounter difficult circumstances that will try our faith. If we go into these times with any level of doubt, the enemy can and will strip us of our peace. That's why we need to know...who we are, who He is, and who's in control. There is no room for doubt...at all.
