  • S2E13: Fit for Performance

5 APR 2022 · Dr. Kirstin discusses the possibility of combining high performance and health. It's very common to hear that health is sacrificed at the time for peak performance. And that might be fine for a short period of time, but athletes are either not focusing on their health in the off times, or are maintaining that peak performance for a long period of time and are then surprised when their body isn't able to maintain that for any longer. Which ends up showing up as injury after injury, to getting sick, to all sorts of different issues. In this episode we dive into the foundation for creating a healthy athlete that also is able to achieve peak performance. • S2E9: Managing Weight Loss in Female Athletes

15 MAR 2022 · When athletes compete in a sport that has weight classes it can be very tricky to lose weight while also maintaining and striving to improve performance. • S2E8: The Important Role of Mitochondria

8 MAR 2022 · Have you ever had an injury, ache or pain, or really low energy that couldn't be explained or fixed?
