Discussing the first steps I'm taking to clean out my Notion by making a Teamspace dedicated to a book project I have with Larry Maguire. Cover art from the ice house adjoining my back garden.
I explain one of the most embarrassing episodes in my work life. It involves an unintentional audio recording ai made during a Zoom meeting. Part of my Reading Week Reset involves refining a workflow that let's me talk to my Surface Book to dynamically generate a blog post. If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter you may know my son me a video about vandalism in the Clonmel Sports Hub. On 31 March, we head to GASP! in Limerick for salons between students and professional creatives. My next reset is on the first of April when I will add daily Instapaper reviews to my work flow.
We're concerned about the local sports hub and hope the Tipperary County Council shares our view. Dylan (12) is following up with a podcast for Little Bit of Tipp.
I made a short clip explaining what I'm currently carrying in my Tumi Bag. (There's a clue in the cover art.) Also: my Master's students are encountering ethical issues about AI. By the way, I went to Onward #2 in Galway and offered a short video about the event in a post on LinkedIn. I think there are two clips on Flickr as well. I plan to upload another Topgold Audio Clip in the middle of February during our Reading Week.
Four things I suggest.
1. Be real--people want to go beyond where they find you when scrolling. Have a point of presence on a map and also have activities you share on calendars. Real people have regular content.
2. Let your workflow benefit from AI. I shoot in lanscape for YouTube and in portrait for IG Stories. I often let Magisto AI put the clips together. I explain this in depth during a digital transformation studio session.
3. Share your concept work. Use Share and Share Alike Creative Commons copyright.
4. Be discoverable. That means using more than one social network. I'm migrating from Twitter to https://topgold.micro.blog and I have tens of thousands more images on https://Flickr.com/irisheyes than I have on Instagram because of handy embeddable photo albums.

https://topgold.micro.blog offers information about using the https://www.flickr.com/photos/irisheyes/52138806353/ with both Android and iOS. We use HiQ MP3 to record segments with the Samsung handsets. And we use Voice Record Pro with iPhones. The Røde receiver needs to connect via the 3.5 mm female leads in both operating systems. We also use a Zoom H6 field recorder and cable into its XY module with the same 3.5 mm jacks. This episode was recorded with the Røde Wireless II Go using Spreaker Studio.
