21 FEB 2024 · Story by: Gail Nobles Tonight's topic: Tisha's Campbell's father Clifton. I am a little sad tonight because I just found out that Tisha Campbell's father Clifton passed away. I did not know him but I felt like I did a little bit. I knew something about him by following Tisha's brother Stan. I also used to follow Tisha and her son Xen but I left Instagram. I had a number of Instagram accounts, and I wasn't getting anywhere. Tisha was still on Twitter at the time. So I left Instagram. It was November 2023 that Mr. Clifton Campbell passed away at the age of 76. In my finding out, Tisha made me laugh. There was an article about her and how she discovered a hilarious reason her father kept his DVD player. What I know about Tisha's father is he played chess. According to the family picture I once saw on Instagram of her father, he looked like he was a good teacher in chess. It was a long time ago that I saw the picture. I think there was more than one in the picture that I saw. There were some children he was watching play chess. I wanted to be there with them because I used to play chess too. I'm thinking of Tisha Campbell today. I miss seeing her in fresh new video clips performing at the lounge, but she could have her very own lounge and could call it Campbell's Club. I don't know. I'm just saying that for an example since her last name is Campbell. Tisha might could tie-in with the Campbell Soup Company with homemade club recipes on her menu. I don't know. I'm just saying. If one club or lounge is successful, maybe she could own more than one. There should be no limit in what you can do as long as you do the right thing. A lounge is a place for people to socialize, have drinks, music, and performance. Tisha could have special guest and invite people like Taraji P. Henson and other celebrities. She could have talent show night. Different nights for different things, and of course, Tisha could could do some singing. After all, she would be the owner. Tisha could film the camels club I'm just saying she loves the camera she loves to share you know what I'm talking about if you have seen her on Instagram I haven't been peeping at Instagram lately but I know Tisha. She's an actress, singer, & dancer. She could be called a producer if nobody hasn’t already, and she can direct. There are a lot of things that Tisha Campbell could do. I see it. I’m just saying. 9 AUG 2023 · Hello I'm Gail Nobles. Today’s topic is Tisha - The Most Memorable Laughs. Tisha Campbell was in the days of comedy back in the 90s starting with the American television sitcom Martin that aired for five seasons on Fox from 1990 to 1997. Tisha could really make you laugh. The whole show was funny but there was something about Tisha Campbell alone. She played as Gina Waters in the city of Detroit, Michigan. There was something about her acting that reminded me of Lucille Ball in the old television sitcom that aired on CBS in 1951 to 1957. I love Lucy. Both of them went out of their way to make faces and do funny things, but Tisha had her very own unique style. The most memorable episode that everybody that watched Martin can't forget is when she played Gina getting her head stuck in the bed rail. And whenever she would panic, her voice would get all her squeaky and loud. She was trying to get through the door and was about to kill herself doing it. Gina was about to tear up the kitchen knocking things down off the kitchen table. Do you remember the Pretty Ricky episode when Gina’s lip was all twisted, make up ruined, and hair was all messed up? Her jaw and mouth was swollen. Gina was allergic to avocado. The episode was about Martin attending his anniversary class reunion. Things were going well until he saw Gina in the state that she was in. Martin didn't want Gina to go. He decided to go to his reunion without her, but Gina arrived. She didn't look like she was in her right mind. She could hardly walk. She was high on medication. She found the comb in her hair sitting down saying: Ooow! That’s where I left it!” She was trying to fix her hair. She was trying to stand up falling down. Ricky started making fun of Gina and calling her names like elephant woman, and Martin punches Pretty Ricky out. So yes, Tisha Campbell could make you laugh. She brought a funny story to life making all those faces and doing funny things. I've never seen no one else in comedy history acting out a scene where they get their head stuck in a bed rail. I have never seen anyone that's pretty go out of their way to mess up their face for a show. Not the way Tisha Campbell has done it. You’re listening to Tisha Campbell news. I’m Gail Nobles. Today’s topic is Tisha Campbell’s Post: I’m Free. I was happy to see Tisha Campbell and her husband doing things together. She use to sing at his lounge. They had friends going there, there was talent night, and Indie Night Film festival night. I saw two people being a blessing to other people. But, it’s not always what you see. When I found out Tisha and her husband were going to get a divorce, it made me sad. I saw that if they got along, they could really prosper and live happily together. But it didn’t end that way. I wish Tisha and her husband the best in life. Back in Oct. of 2019, there was a headline that Tisha was saying that she was finally free. She was showing off a house that she no longer lived in. If there is no happiness in a house, it is not a home. It’s just a house. So if you guys decide to marry a woman, don’t think that you are just going to put a woman in a house. That’s not all there is to it. A house can’t grow arms and hug you. It can’t love you. That’s not what makes you happy. Imagine the woman you marry gone all of the time & never there. You don’t marry the house. You marry the woman. Hopefully she’ll marry you & not the house. I got to put it that way. I don’t know no other way to put it. You got to marry for love, and marry because you care for a person. Im not saying don’t have nice things. If you think a person is going to just sit in a house and be happy, you might want to think again. If two people are not getting along in a house, it can be years of agony. Im Gail Nobles. I read in the news that Tisha has said no to a Martin reboot for now, but she does have some thoughts on where Gina would be today. She said they would probably still be together, married, and with grandchildren. Tisha Campbell might tell you that she ain’t Gina. Then again, if she knows that you loved her character from the TV show Martin, she might not say anything. She knows she played the character & because of her experience in real life, I believe she could make Gina a better character. Her character, Gina, had no kids, wasn’t married, and wasn’t divorced. See the difference? So if Tisha tells you that she ain’t Gina, you can take it as a joke, but she’s telling the truth. I believe she’s stronger than her character. That’s why I believe she could make Gina a better character. If the Martin show comes back, of course it wouldn’t be the same. I believe it would still be funny, but I believe it would be serious sometimes too. The people who played on the show have grown up. The whole show might would be better because they all have experience & know more about life. In real life, the cast has seen people come & seen people go. Of course, in the comedy, there might be new characters. They may meet new people just like in real life. Life goes on. (Black Butterfly) Tisha Campbell may have been through a lot but she’s still here. Every time something tries to knock her down, she looks determined to rise up even higher. I saw Tisha Campbell getting ready for what she said is the Martin Show Reunion. I’ve been hearing that Tisha and Tichina Arnold are going to reunite for a new talk show. That sounds like good news to me. Tisha doesn’t quit and neither does her friends. Tisha and Tichina have hosted the Soul Train awards about what? Two or three times in a row. They ought to be able to have their own talk show together. They have had experience & looks like opportunity for them is coming. I believe that Tisha’s gonna rise higher than before, and her friends too. I pray that she does. I wish them all the best in whatever they decide to do. I’m Gail Nobles. She has worked with a talented singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer known as B. Slade. B Slade has released several hundred songs and dozens of albums over the span of his career, while producing several others for both gospel and secular artists. So today we’re going to talk about B Slade & Tisha Campbell. I’m your host, Gail Nobles. Alright ! Now let’s get started. It’s kind of hard to talk about both Tisha and B Slade because for me, they are hard to keep up with & you don’t know what they are going to do next. That’s right. There are things that I don’t know. But I do know that B Slade had something to do with Tisha Campbell’s song, Steel Here. If I’m not mistake, he’s the producer of the song and Tisha co-wrote it. It was released in 2015. It is said that she received 6000 hits within the first 2 hrs of its arrival. So how did B Slade get to meet Tisha and how did he get involved with her musically? Well, I know that they were friends at her husbands restaurant, LA Xen Lounge. I think that’s when B Slade & Tisha started music together. It might have been before then. But during that time, that’s when I had first heard about Tisha’s single and B Slade being the producer. It is written that B Slade is a singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, actor, and producer. But I consider him also as a director. Somebody might say, Oh don’t go there. But I see a whole lot of things in B Slade. Tisha Campbell is an actress, singer, & dancer, but I think if something hits her hard enough, she can be a great writer. After all, she co-wrote her song, Steel Here. And what else? Let me see. Tisha is a great talker (communicator). And she does producing & directing too. It is said that country singer Dani Wright signed with her. So shouldn’t that make Tisha Campbell a producer? And ended when? 1997 And the year is what? 2021 The cast & show has been gone a long time. Fans know that the show won’t come back the same if it did come back. As a matter of fact, it could be better. The show doesn’t have to begin again with the same name. Martin could be the subtitle. I don’t think there was ever a comedy with a subtitle. The cast needs to try new things. Things no one has ever done. Sometimes people are just afraid. And it’s not fair not to continue something because a person has passed away. You just can’t shut down and stop because someone has gone. The ones that are alive must keep on going. They have life. The ones that are gone are not living here anymore. They are gone to a better place and more alive than we are. They are gone to a better place and more alive than we are. And if they are doing something in heaven, it’s probably better than the things that we do. They ain’t sad up there in heaven. We’re the ones that get sad missing them. That’s why we got to try to keep moving. It’s not our time to shut down and stop. We can remember those that are gone. If the cast come back with the show Martin, I think it would be great because the cast is very talented. I don’t see what’s so hard. They just need new stories. Maybe some new characters. And if the show fails, they can say that they tried, and move on to something else. I’m Gail Nobles speculating on Martin.
