16 APR 2024 · While Brandon is taking in some Blue Jays action, Jacob is joined by Brendan Lang for the hour. They start the show by recapping Scottie Scheffler's win at The Masters, UConn's national championship win, and the Blue Jays winning their first two home series. Then, Andrew Damelin of Raptors Republic joins the show to recap a disastrous season for the Toronto Raptors, and give a little preview of the NBA playoffs. After their bets of the week, they are joined by Adam Silverstein of CBS Sports who has more on The Masters. And to wrap up the show, Jacob asks Brendan for his take on Nestor Cortes' whacky pitch from over the weekend.

9 APR 2024 · Catch up on what you missed on the latest episode of  “The Swing.” Jacob and Brandon give their perspective on what could be the best Men’s National Championship in history between Connecticut against Purdue. The guys give their keys to the game, and what could be the deciding factor in a matchup of two number 1 seeds, and a game featuring two teams led by 2 goliaths in UConn’s Donovan Clingan & Purdue’s, Toronto-native Zach Edey.   Next, the Steelheads end their season on a sour note by being eliminated by the Sudbury Wolves in 5 games, and here for the first time ever on the show is Digital Editor with Metroland Media Group, Iain Colpitts. Iain gives his opinion on what went wrong for the Steelheads, what are the positives to take out of this season for the Trout, and reminisces about personal memories about the franchise in Mississauga. Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week,” and after that, we welcome back the Host of “This Week in Golf,” Chris McKee ahead of the biggest tournament in golf: The Masters. Chris gives insight into who could be a huge sleeper, a top player to disappoint, and his expectations/hopes for a 5-time winner and 48-year-old, Tiger Woods. Lastly, in Overtime, Jacob and Brandon each give their pick for The Masters and provide a few words on the opening 10 games of the Blue Jays season.

Zack previews up the Steelheads' opening round playoff matchup against the Sudbury Wolves, plus he goes into what will be the advantages and disadvantages in this series for the Trout. Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week,” and after that, we say hello to a good buddy of the show and chat all things Blue Jays baseball ahead of the new season with Baseball Writer, Chris Henderson. Chris answers questions about a possible bounce-back year for Alek Manoah, the lacklustre off-season, the starting rotation, and much much more.  Lastly, in Overtime, Jacob and Brandon give their predictions on this upcoming Jays season and give a big mention to the Canadian Men’s National Soccer Program for qualifying for the Copa America.

The guys also talk about Joey Votto going yard on his first pitch in a Jays jersey, plus the Leafs falling in a shootout to Carolina in an exciting game on Saturday night. Next, one of the members of your Steelheads broadcast crew, and one of the hosts of “Trout Talk,” Brendan Lang stops by the show. Brendan dives into this incredible recent run of form from the Trout as they fight for positioning at the top of the Eastern Conference with just 2 games left in the regular season. Brendan also weighs the best options for the Steelheads in the opening playoff round.   Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week” with no shortage of bets for the big NCAA Men’s College Basketball tournament. Following that we get right into that tourney and chat with Sports Projects Reporter and Editor for USA Today, Steve Berkowitz. John gives his grade on the Maple Leafs moves ahead of the Trade Deadline, and whether it will have a strong effect as they push into the playoffs. Next, Jacob and Brandon discuss some NFL news with Eagles star Centre Jason Kelce announcing his retirement, and also QB Russell Wilson being released by the Broncos. Brandon also goes into some detail about Toronto FC looking so far so good in the first 2 games of the season, and the difference John Herdman has made. Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week.” Following that we welcome back, Associate Editor at Raptors Rapture, Mike Luciano.
