Instead of packing a lot of content into single episodes, we are now putting out shorter episodes focused on a single topic. Episode 4, details the six rotating series that are the main content of this format... and includes episode one of the "A life of pain" series (of six new series total). The point of the "A life of pain" series is to help listeners understand why Miller is so passionate about chronic-pain advocacy, changing the narrative in this country and fighting government interference in the physician's exam room.

  • Ep.3 - The War on Drugs

    23 FEB 2019 · This episode studies the Harrison Anti-Narcotic Act of 1914. The act was the first shot fired in the federal government's war on drugs, it was based on America's colonialist ambitions in the Philippines and the debate over the act had little to do with medical evidence or public safety. The Harrison Act forever influenced the doctor and pain patient interpersonal experience. In fact, after the passing of the bill... the medical community was immediately targeted.
