Jennifer Van Laar, contributing writer at IJ Review, is a California native who survived 20 years on the East Coast before making it back to paradise. She’s a mother of 3 boys who, luckily, have all inherited her love of baseball, basketball, and hockey. While raising and sometimes homeschooling her sons she owned a court reporting firm, was a founding executive for a direct sales company, and has owned a political and management consulting firm since 2011. Jennifer has served on the board of the Harnett County (NC) Republican Women and is a current board member of Simi Valley/Moorpark Republican Women and Soroptimist International Simi Valley.

In addition to her work with IJ Review, Jennifer has been a contributor to United Liberty and appeared on The Dana Show on The Blaze TV, The Glazov Gang, numerous local radio broadcasts, and is a frequent guest on The Right Mics.
