31 MAY 2020 · In this episode of Rugby Reimagined I speak to Rugby Worlds very own Alan Dymock who took a short time out from a busy period preparing Rugby Worlds 60th Anniversary Issue to discuss, why: 7's deserves more respect, the transfer Embargo in English Rugby needs to go, why the Global Season has to align, why you don't really mean we should "bring back rucking"" All good things must come to an end and Rugby Reimagined Season One is now over. We'd originally planned 8 episodes, did 9, and with a few other people we couldn't make our diary match with the plan is for a short break and then season two.

27 MAY 2020 · In this episode of Rugby Reimagined we look at things from the POV of the man in the middle when I talk to Keith Lewis from https://www.rugbyreferee.net Keith is an active referee who has reffed at the top level of the English game and is currently working as a Premiership TMO. He set up Rugby Referee.net to help other referees develop and obtain the materials required to do so. He also presents the Advantage Over Podcast which looks at Rugby from a slightly different POV. We talk about why Rugby just needs to get over the laws, why it needs to do more to encourage Referees into the game at all levels and why the separation of the Elite and Grassroots game is not the way to go. We also touch on the need for Referees to be more involved in the media. This is one of my favourite conversations from the series to date.

24 MAY 2020 · In this episode of Rugby Reimagined I talk to Apollo Perelini, member of the Legendary Samoan team who took the 91 Rugby Union World Cup by storm and member of the all conquering St Helens team that won the 99 and 2000 Super League. Apollo now heads up the U.A.E's high performance Rugby Program and a high class Rugby academy in Dubai and our paths crossed on the international Sevens circuit where we both coached. We talked about why the Eligibility laws need to change, why he thinks Rugby should be in 4 quarters and not 2 halves and why we need to review the High tackle laws. We also touch on his experience working at the highest levels of both Rugby codes.

We discuss reversing the advent of Professional Rugby, why Union should never have head hunted League players and a Reg poses a brilliant law change when we touch on what would happen if we changed the Penalty goal kick.
