PANCAKES & PRAYERS

The month of May is a significant month on the calendar of events for the world, we celebrate our children, the future. Unfortunately, in Jamaica and many countries across the world, many children are not celebrated, they are killed, abused and abandoned.

We weep and mourn with the many families affected and we pray for change. Yet the voices of children who look on are not heard. They are concerned too, they see and hear what is happening and they are praying for a better way, a better life!

WHY- "Pancakes and Prayers" was born as a means of giving voice to children who are concerned, who wants to see a better Jamaica! a better world! Greater protection for our children and a safe place for them to live and grow and become great.

“Pancakes & Prayers” brings together children of the Christian faith who are making an impact, who believe prayer changes things and Jesus is the answer and they are agents of change. Pancakes and Prayers will connect them outside of their own sphere of influence and allow them a platform for greater influence.

Children are genuine and honest and Jesus did say "Allow the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the Kingdom of heaven."

Pancakes and Prayers will bring together children from various churches and schools to bring before God the issues of the world from their perspective and they will present their case through prayers in various forms:-
Singing, dancing, puppetry, sermonettes, and prayers.

This will happen at Whole Life College, 80 Half Way Tree Road behind TIP Friendly Society, between BNS and FCIB
It starts at 8 a.m.
Churches represented include Pure in Heart Ministries, Light of the Gentiles, Fellowship Tabernacle, Bread of Life, Faith Walk and others
Breakfast will be served and include pancakes, eggs, sausages, toasts, yogurt, fruits, milo, breakfast cereals, etc.
The Fellowship Tabernacle Children's Musicians and singers will lead in a time of worship
