Rob Thompson is a Sessional Professor in Management and Law at VIU. Founded in his combined first class academic record, and extensive practical experience in business, he has a 40-year reputation for creating and implementing successful innovative courses and programs that draw positive student responses and reviews. As a practitioner of Applied Systems Thinking for reframing/meeting challenges and solving problems, his current research agenda, while broad-ranging, is focused in large part on digital media applications and the ‘digital native’ phenomena as a route to evolving our culture and interactions.
