  • The Dov Barron Show - Mike Kaeding: Solving the Housing Crisis by Transforming the Building Industry!

17 APR 2024 · Mike Kaeding: Solving the Housing Crisis by Transforming the Building Industry! The American Dream of homeownership has been a symbol of prosperity, stability, and success for generations. Unfortunately, that dream is becoming increasingly difficult for many Americans to achieve.  Major institutional investors such as BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard, and Blackstone have negatively impacted housing affordability. By purchasing single-family homes in bulk, these firms are making it more challenging for average Americans to afford homes or find affordable rental properties. High home prices, elevated mortgage rates, and limited inventory make it increasingly difficult for many Americans to afford homes.  It's time to address this crisis and work towards ensuring that the American Dream of homeownership is attainable for all. But how? That's what we are examining over the new two episodes, and no, we are not speaking with a theorist but rather someone who has rolled up his sleeves and has boots on the ground making it happen.  Mr. Mike Kaeding, CEO of Norhart.  Mike Kaeding, CEO of Norhart, a $200 million Real Estate business with over 250 employees based in Minnesota. He's a man on a mission to solve America's housing shortage by transforming the way apartments are built and managed, and he's the host of the Zero To Unicorn Podcast. • The Dov Barron Show - Steve Farrell: The Conscious Capitalism Opportunity

10 APR 2024 · The Conscious Capitalism Opportunity   What are conscious leadership and conscious capitalism? Are they some kind of new-age woo-woo terms that today's gurus use? Or are they practical ways of operating in the world of business?   If you are doubting the practicality of these things, rest assured you're not alone. However, what if the person talking directly to you about these things was a co-founder of two technology companies based in Silicon Valley, someone who was a member of the Young President's Organization because he grew each company to $75 million in revenue, the first in ten years and the second in just two years? Would you be willing to consider the possibility that Conscious Leadership and Conscious Capitalism are the new ways of doing business?   Part 1 and Part 2 outline a vision for applying conscious leadership and capitalism, touching upon various aspects from philosophical underpinnings, like the quantum physics of Conversations With God, to practical business considerations and personal development. All of which suggest that embracing conscious capitalism and leadership could lead to more fulfilling and successful business practices and a more compassionate and understanding world. Would you be willing to consider the possibility that Conscious Leadership and Conscious Capitalism are the new ways of doing business?  Steve Farrell felt compelled to leave Silicon Valley behind and launch Humanity's Team, a global non-profit helping people worldwide awaken to their interconnectedness through platforms such as Humanity's Stream+, a conscious streaming service now available worldwide.  Website www.stevefarrell.org www.humanitysteam.org Social Media https://facebook.com/HumanitysTeamWorldwide     https://twitter.com/humanitys_team     https://www.linkedin.com/in/steve-farrell-069360/     https://instagram.com/humanitysteamofficial/

  • The Dov Barron Show - James Burke The Godfather of Curiosity

13 MAR 2024 · The Godfather of Curiosity: Shaking The Paradigm As a boy with dyslexia who loved to learn, reading was a struggle for me. However, I was fortunate to have grown up during the golden age of TV. Watching shows that exposed me to new ways of thinking and understanding, I was able to feed my insatiable curiosity. One of my favorite shows was the BBC1 science series "Tomorrow's World." Later, I came across the ten-part documentary series #Connections, broadcast on the BBC and PBS in the United States. Connections traced the historical relationships between invention and discovery. Each episode chronicled a particular path of technological development. Connections was the most-watched PBS television series up to that time. It was followed by the twenty-part Connections 2 (1994) and the ten-part Connections 3 (1997) Our esteemed guest, James Burke, and his partner created these shows. Professor James Burke has been a regular writer for Scientific American, Time, and a consultant to the SETI project. James is also the host of the upcoming series of Curiosity Stream, The 4th Connection. James Burke is an award-winning science historian and documentary filmmaker. He was the BBC chief reporter on Apollo 11. For over fifty years, he has produced and hosted many TV series for the BBC, PBS, and Discovery. The Washington Post described him as “One of the most intriguing minds in the Western world.” However, I would describe him as the Godfather of my Curiosity. • The Dov Barron Show - Dr Azra Raza: The First Cell, Unravelling The Mystery of CancerDr Azra Raza: The First Cell, Unravelling The Mystery o

7 FEB 2024 · Dr Azra Raza: The First Cell, Unravelling The Mystery of Cancer. Few adults on the planet have not been touched, either directly or indirectly, by cancer. Cancer is one of the things many people see as an inevitable part of life that they hope and pray does not visit directly onto their own life. Imagine for a moment the grief of being an oncologist (a cancer specialist) and the weight that would put on your life. Every day, you work with people, 70% of whom you will walk to their death. Would that make you want to quit and find a new field? Now imagine that you are not only watching as these people die but that you discover that the love of your life, another oncologist, is diagnosed with untreatable cancer, and you must walk them through to the end. For most of us, that would make us want to crawl into a hole and never return. Well, not for our guest, Dr. Azra Raza. Instead, she is pioneering the understanding of cancer and, most importantly, its earliest detection. Dr. Raza immigrated to the U.S. with a clear intention: to cure cancer. She has traveled a long way from where she grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, to the dining room of President Joe Biden home at the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C. Dr. Raza was invited with a handful of other cancer specialists to offer their perspectives on the current cancer landscape, which contributed to shaping what is now known as the "Cancer Moonshot" She has been featured in the New York Times, The Guardian, The Times, The Smithsonian, and numerous other high-profile outlets. Dr. Raza’s latest bestselling book, "THE FIRST CELL" is a searing account of how medicine and our society (mis) treat cancer, how we can do better, and why we must. Her life is devoted to early detection and prevention of cancer.
