I first became aware of writer, producer and author Bill Milkowski back in the mid to late 70's, when, as a young up-and-coming rock guitar player, I started buying Guitar Player Magazine. As my pursuit shifted to Jazz Guitar, Bill's writing was right there with me in such publications as Downbeat, Jazz Times, Guitar World and other top-shelf publications.
