Rap like professional sports is something many low income Black families use as a means out of poverty. Unfortunately, if that should happen, all too often a Black family LOSES out because the athlete or the musician and his or her family neglects the BUSINESS side of what they are doing and often LOSE that money and wealth building opportunity.
