I had so many dreams where did they ever go
I stop now and all I can say to myself is
I just don't know
I never lived up to my potential
who's fault is that if not my own.
I wish I could tell you and people my story
like other old men that are a bit sorry
i got so upset at times what for now I ask
There is really something about growing old you see your so much wiser,
But at the same time no ones wants to hear your story
I wrote a book and no one is reading it
Although it is filled with wisdom.
When I meet people I have so much I want to tell them, but they do not want to hear it or listen
They are already full of information
You know what let me tell you this here and now
No one when you are young wants to listen at all
They must experience it for themselves and one day
They too will be where I'm at for some reason it's called the circle of life.
