Darrell “DJ Rob” Roberts, founder and owner of the music blog site, DJROBBLOG.COM, is not a DJ but a journalist from Virginia whose intense love of music spans more than five decades. His love of writing runs nearly as long as that of music and, in January 2015, he combined the two to create DJROBBLOG.COM, which has now published more than 750 articles spanning many music genres and generations, with nearly three million clicks since its inception. In the eight-year history of the blog, DJ Rob has touched on relevant music topics, including artist career milestones, album anniversaries, concert and new music reviews, unique pieces of music trivia, chart occurrences, and tributes to fallen artists. In total DJ Rob has written nearly 100 concert reviews and more than 120 tributes to artists that have passed since 2015. DJROBBLOG has covered wide-ranging topics spanning pop, R&B, rock, hip-hop and country music. He’s even delved into genres as diverse as death metal and gospel. The blog’s most clicked article in recent years has been his exclusive tally of every hip-hop album (250 of them) that has reached No. 1 on Billboard’s main album chart, the Billboard 200.
