Future Leaders Connect is a special initiative of the British Council, an initiative that invites young people ages 18-35 from 12 countries around the world to bring their desire to make an impact to a growing global network of young policy thinkers.
A select group of Future Leaders Connect applicants are given the opportunity to travel to the UK for 10 days of advanced policy and leadership development, connect with other participants, as well as more seasoned, inspirational leaders.
Last year, Canada was represented by 2 delegates: Nicholas Schiavo and Shreya Nayak.
In this Future Leaders Connect series we had the opportunity to catch up with both delegate to talk about what drew them to the program, and what they have learned along the way.
