Adam and Eve had communion with God each day before they had sins to confess, request to pray for, needs to believe for, demons to cast out, or people to intercede for. If you were to remove those things from your prayer life, how much prayer would you have left? Pray should be mainly to absorb God's presence and to enjoy his glory being shared into our hearts. So, seek God before the request starts pouring in.
