Captains Felonious Reports

  • CFR Season 1 Episode 10 Biggest Pet Peaves on the Boat

11 AUG 2023 · We have so many things rot be thankful of revery time we leave the dock and return safely regardless of the experiences between said points. But these captains work tirelessly to maintain the boats and equipment and this week one their brothers was injured in a freak acident while working on his boat. We send our thoughts and prayers out to Capt. Izzy and his family as he begins a long healing process from his injuries. Thank you to the folks at Marlin Quay Marina and to the Garden City/Murrells Inlet first responders for getting to him so quickly. This weeks show topic was a very eye brow raising topic. All of the guys have their own little things that set them off on a boat and we hear from 5 or 6 of the crew on the pet peaves that send them(or someone else) overboard. We hope you enjoy this episode and message us with your list of pet peaves on the boat. Thanks again for all your support. We will see yall next week at the shack. Tight Lines!

  • CFR Episode 8 Best of ICAST, Suicide Inetervention, and The Summer Heat

20 JUL 2023 · This week the guys and gals of CFR got together to discuss several topics. With the recent ICAST in Orlando, a number of the crew made their way to Orlando and got up close and personal with all the new products that will be introduced in the near future. We are going to hear about some of the best products and all the fun that surrounds this annual event. We also are going to discuss a recent experience that some of the MIFC crew had a direct hand in helping to difuse and possibly saving a young mans life. We do not kid around about suicide and the reality is, that many people have things they are dealing with that they hide from friends and family. In this case a young man had taken a very strong edible drug that had a very diverse effect on him and his mind. We are happy that all were safe and we cannot thank the USCG and the Murrells Inlet Fire and Resue enough for all of their efforts to make sure this incident ended without any injuries. We hope you are enjoying hearing our chaos as much as we are enjoyinmg recording and we hope that you will come join us for a future episode on Tuesdays at 5:30 at MIFC. Tight Lines!!!!

The fraternity of charter captains and guides is one that only an elite number of men and women choose to join. With an endearing love for the sport of fishing, these members also have to have a love for entertaiing clients on the boat. When the fish do not cooperate, it is thrown on the captain to make sure the clients leave happy and a feeling that the hundreds of dollars were spent for the memories, not the instant gratification. CFR is a platform for some of the best captains in the southeast and beyond to tell their stories. We also want to afford them a chance to share some experiences that they have the pleasure, or in some cases, thebdispleasure of being a part of. Recorded live on Tuesday afternoons at Murrells Inlet Fishing Charters in Murrells Inlet, S.C., our group of captains promise to leave you wanting more. We invite everyone to come join us at 5:30 every week and join in on the fun. Be sure to register to win some great prizes and giveaways from our sponsors. We will also be giving away fishing charters throughout the year. Please be sure to like, subscribe, and share our episodes with all your friends and if you have any great stories of your own, reach out and share it on our social media page. We hope you enjoy the shows and find some way to relate to our captains stories. Enjoy!!!!!!!
