  • Getting Through to Every Kid with Mark Levine

30 SEP 2019 · Mark Levine is an educator, a writer, a thinker, a coach, a consultant, a presenter, a former child psychologist and I would add, an advocate for all things wellness in the classroom. He has built quite a reputation at his school for being able to get to any child, no matter the background and I admire that. This conversation was never meant to be a podcast interview. It was a conversation that I ended up wanting to share because I found it so valuable in getting a different perspective of how you can connect with your students no matter what. Please let me know if you would like more of these episodes on Twitter @DesrosiersEryka. You can reach Mark here: Twitter: @LevineWrites Facebook: Mark Levine LinkedIn: Mark Levine

  • Providing Value with David Meltzer

23 SEP 2019 · In his early 20s, David Meltzer quickly rose to the top of his game in the business world, becoming a millionaire. David lectured around the globe and saw rapid success in every business project he touched. But something was missing, and in his 30s as a multimillionaire, he went on a rapid downward spiral that ended in bankruptcy. It was only then that David realized, in order to revive and thrive, he needed to codify what had made him successful in the first place. He has since emerged to realize even more rewarding heights of success in business and life. David Meltzer has created a platform that uses four overarching principles—gratitude, empathy, accountability, and effective communication—and these principles have allowed him to communicate and mentor everyone from college students to c-suite executives. These four principles in everyday practice allow David to live by his mission to “make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and have a lot of fun.” In this interview, we talk about the quantum shift David went through to go from a mindset of scarcity to one of abundance. We discuss the law of Goya, the law of attraction and the law of surrender, how to get rid an ego-based consciousness and how to ask how you can be of service and help others. He shares how to provide value, who were some of his mentors including Gary Vaynerchuck, Lee Steinberg, Warren Moon and important lessons his mother, father and grandfather taught him. Check out what he is doing as chief chancellor at the Junior Achievement University along with a series of other successful individuals including Jack Canfield, David Corbin, Bob Proctor, Sharon Lechter, Greg Reid, David Corbin and Brian Tracy. All of this and more within 20 minutes! You can check out more of what David is doing on his website: https://www.davemeltzer.com/ He is also on YouTube, LinkedIn and more. Check out: @DavidMeltzer.
