Oscar J. Evans is back behind the microphone, which means Trillberry has once again failed to protect the public. If you thought Howard Stern was bad, wait until Oscar discovers morning radio. This week, Oscar has been informed that apparently you can’t just say “fuck” whenever you want, so the official replacement word is now FRANK SINATRA. Naturally, this solves absolutely nothing. Oscar takes on corporate culture, why nobody actually supports independent art even though everybody complains that Hollywood is dead, the insanity of public arts funding, why Trill County should probably just elect a dog, and the latest season of House of the Dragon — otherwise known to Oscar as “Game of Thrones with fewer Frank Sinatra dragons.” Plus: 🎙️ Oscar Has Notes
🎭 A huge plug for Wonderland, premiering September 2
🐕 More evidence that a dog could probably run government better
🐉 House of the Dragon gets the Oscar treatment
🎸 Oscar forces everyone to hear “Twenty-Eight Years Right Here” AGAIN
📅 And Oscar is absolutely certain it’s Friday. It is not Friday. Not even close. Good Morning, Trillberry is filthy, political, petty, aggressively independent, occasionally heartfelt, and completely unsupervised. Morning radio was a mistake. Trillberry made it anyway. Listen. Share it. Send it to somebody who likes comedy with teeth. And remember: You don’t want independent art.
You want independent art after a corporation tells you it’s safe to like. Evans sits down to say goodbye to Dolly Parton — a woman he considers one of the absolute pinnacles of American art, American culture, songwriting, generosity, humor, individuality, and the radical idea that nobody should ever make themselves smaller just to make somebody else comfortable. This isn’t a normal episode. There are no television reviews. No government solutions involving dogs. No Oscar Has Notes. This is Oscar’s bleeding love letter to Dolly. He talks about the songs, the mountains, the rhinestones, the humor, the books she put into children’s hands, the people she helped, the queer community that embraced her, and why Dolly Parton represented the best version of what America keeps promising it wants to be. And then Oscar finally admits something. For years, he has told people that he met Dolly Parton. He did not. He met the best damn Dolly Parton drag queen he had ever seen outside Trillberry City Hall. And somehow, today, that memory means even more. The episode concludes with a brand-new original song written and performed by Oscar J. Evans: “I Met Dolly Once.” A note from the studio: our engineers performed what can only be described as emergency audio surgery on this recording. Oscar was crying through nearly the entire process, and after what felt like approximately 900 takes, we finally had enough usable pieces to stitch together the finished song. Apparently Oscar can work remarkably fast when America loses a legend. The tears were real. The song is real. The drag queen was definitely real. Dolly was one of a kind. So today, play her music. Read a book to a kid. Help somebody if you can. Wear the rhinestones. And if the world tells you that you’re too much— be more. We loved Dolly. That’s all. #DollyParton #DollyPartonTribute #RememberingDolly #DollyForever #GoodMourningTrillberry #GoodMorningTrillberry #Trillberry #OscarJEvans #IMetDollyOnce #CountryMusic #CountryLegend #AmericanMusic #AmericanArt #AmericanCulture #Songwriter #Songwriting #MusicLegend #MusicHistory #Rhinestones #ImaginationLibrary #QueerCulture #DragCulture #LGBTQCulture #Tribute #Memorial #TributeEpisode #PodcastTribute #AudioEssay #AudioDocumentary #ComedyPodcast #IndependentPodcast #IndiePodcast #OriginalMusic #OriginalSong #CountrySong #CountryPodcast #RJPCStudios #TrillberryUSA #Trillberian #SupportIndependentArt #SupportIndependentCreators

Good Morning, Trillberry is a Trillberry USA production from RJPC Studios LLC.Created by Robert Jerome Pagan.
Oscar J.
