The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced lane closures on U.S. Hwy 81 from West Poplar Avenue to State Highway 45, allowing contractors to complete a rehabilitation of the pavement, consisting of concrete panel repairs, diamond grinding, dowel retrofitting, and grading improvements.
~
This closure is expected to last approximately six months, beginning Wednesday, May 1.
~
In preparation for the closure, ODOT is building a temporary concrete mix plant in the median for the project. Traffic control signs will be placed up on the highway in mid-April in anticipation of the highway and street closure.

Bansk Group, a consumer-focused private investment firm dedicated to building distinctive consumer brands, announced that it has acquired No Man's Land Foods LLC, a fast-growing, premium meat snacks brand primarily sold in the convenience channel today. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Downtown Enid is about to get even more vibrant with the installation of a state-of-the-art outdoor speaker system. This project was funded by Leadership Greater Enid Class XXXII, as their chosen class project, and aims to enhance the downtown experience. The new speaker system, comprising of 50 speakers strategically placed on the Double Square.
